SENIOR HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

Our client, an information and technology company based in Mississauga, is looking for a senior health and safety manager to join their team. This position will report to the Director, Global Workplace Security & Safety.

Role expectations are but not limited to:

  •  Develop a framework for hazard and risk management, facilities emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance
  • Work with global internal and external consultancy support to develop short & long-term Health & Safety strategies
  • Develop and manage incident investigation programs, including data analysis and incident prevention.
  • Deliver a global approach to Health & Safety training and awareness initiatives for our stakeholders.
  • Monitor, interpret and assess existing or emerging Health & Safety laws, regulatory policies
  • And more.

To be considered for this role, the candidate should have the following qualification.

  • 7-10 years of related work experience in a similar role with international experience, preferably within a global technology organization.
  •  5+ years working at the management level for Health & Safety departments. 
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma/certificate in Health & Safety or related field or equivalent related professional experience.
  •   Professional Health & Safety certifications (CRSP)
  •  Ability to occasionally travel regional and international.
